Although there are many forms of water therapy that can get complicated, here are a couple you can do at home. I've done them all; this isn't just some copy-paste.

This is called a detox bath, and it is pretty close to the Japanese style of bathing.
Start by filling a bucket with cold water. Stick a fan in the bathroom or in your dressing area and put a chair in front of it lined with a towel.
Take a shower in lukewarm water, soaping up a washcloth and scrubbing the skin vigorously with it, paying close attention to the legs, the soles of the feet, and the scalp. Rinse off in the shower. Turn off the shower and let the water drain, then fill the bath with water as hot as you can comfortably tolerate. Soak in the bath for around twenty minutes or so, or whatever. Let the water drain again, and then dump the bucket of cold water over your head. Step out of the bath area, sit on the towel-lined chair, and air-dry. Please note: if your water quality isn't good and you wish to do this every day, you'd probably better get one of those filters for your bathtub faucet or over time this could actually make you feel worse, not better. The skin absorbs whatever is put on it as well as expels all kinds of junk from the body, so if you're absorbing more than you're releasing, that's not good.

You can add 1/4 a cup of epsom salt to a hot footbath to ease stress after a long day at work. If you wish, add one drop of the essential oil of your choice and no more. Too much epsom salt can cause a detoxification reaction so go easy on it.

Swimming is probably the best way to get in shape if you are overweight or just in general. Out of all aerobic exercises it provides the least strain on your joints while still strengthening the whole body. It is also a good exercise for those with chronic pain. One hour of swimming every morning is one of the best habits you could cultivate as it burns plenty of calories while at the same time improving cardiovascular health and muscle strength.

To help reduce the pain of a headache, stick your feet in a hot footbath and your hands in two bowls of ice cold water.
